Hello, September! I’m super happy you’re here, because that means Autumn is getting closer!
For the month of September, I want to challenge myself. According to Goodreads, I’m 4 books behind schedule, which means I need to pick up the pace if I want to reach my 52 book goal for this year. Not to mention, I also want to have a much better reading month than August, because I was so disappointed with some of the books I read!
With that being said, I have a pretty good TBR list ahead of me for the month, filled with books I’ve been dying to read, a Stephen King novel, and a classic (which I’m totally stepping out of my comfort zone with!)
BOOKS I WANT TO READ IN SEPTEMBER
With the movie coming out this month, I want to read this! I’m going to be reading this throughout the month, considering it’s a super long book. I plan on reading a few chapters a night to get me into the Halloween mood. I can’t wait to see what happens!
We All Looked Up by Tommy Wallach
After posting this in a little haul on my Instagram, a lot of people were telling me how amazing this book is, which got me super hyped. Plus, the cover gives me fall vibes.
Illuminae by Amy Kaufman and Jay Kristoff
Adding this to my TBR for the month because I’m so intrigued as to what this is about! Like I mentioned in my haul last month, the format of this book is really interesting, and I’ve only heard amazing things.
Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen
Definitely stepping out of my comfort zone with this book. Classics have never been my thing, but I want to give this one a try since it’s so well-loved. A lot of my close friends have read this and talk so highly about it. I’m hoping Mr. Darcy will change my view on classics!
Tell Me Three Things by Julie Buxbaum
Of course, I had to pick a contemporary novel! You all know it’s my favorite genre! I just purchased this book last month, and I’ve been dying to read it ever since.
Those are the books I’ve chosen to read this month! I have a good feeling about them, and I will keep you all posted on my thoughts! What are you planning on reading this month?
I’m nearly finished reading It, and let me tell you…the story telling is phenomenal! King did some really cool things with his writing for this one.

That makes me so excited to continue reading! I’m only 160 pages in, but it’s started to get interesting.
