January Wrap-Up // 2018

It’s the last day of January, which means it’s time to talk about all of the books I read this month! It’s the first time since 2012 where I haven’t set a reading goal for the year, and I’m loving it! Reading has definitely been more on the relaxing side, and I managed to finish 3 (and a half) books this month.

So, let’s get into it.

Last Sacrifice by Richelle Mead

rating: 5/5 stars.

This book was a re-read, and it’s the final book in the Vampire Academy series. Re-reading this series was an entertaining journey, and I loved every moment of it. It remains one of my all time favorites, and I can’t wait to read it again in a few years.

Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell

rating: 4/5 stars

Finally, after YEARS of wanting to read this, I finally did. I adore Rainbow Rowell and her writing style, so it was no surprise to me that I’d enjoy this book.

The List by Siobhan Vivian

rating: 2.5/5 stars

I was craving something quick and sweet at the time, so I picked this up. The book was enjoyable, but I would’ve liked it a lot more if I read it as a pre-teen. The characters were interesting, and the book went by insanely fast. Overall, it was okay!

So that’s it for my wrap-up! I also started Water for Elephants, and I’m about halfway through. I’m really liking it so far, but I’ll let you all know my final thoughts next month!

How many books did you read this month, and which was your favorite? Let me know!
