May Wrap Up // 2017

Hello! I know, I know…we’re almost a week into June and I’m just now posting my May wrap-up.. My excuse is pretty good and exciting though: I got a puppy! If you’ve ever owned a dog (especially a puppy) you know that it’s a full-time job. It took me 3 weeks to finish the book that I finally completed only a few minutes ago. Thankfully, I’m slowly getting back into my old routine, which means more time to read!

Anyway, let’s get into the books I read in May.

I’m going to be honest, May wasn’t the greatest reading month for me. I had a lot going on, I adopted my dog, and I somehow fell into a slight reading slump. That being said, the two books I read were really entertaining and I loved them!

Rebel Belle – Rachel Hawkins: Rating: 5/5 stars. Surprisingly, I loved this book, and I didn’t expect to. The plot was interesting, and I loved the characters. Rebel Belle was a fun read, and I’m happy I have the second book in this series sitting on my shelf to dig into because I’m dying to see what happens next.

Always and Forever, Lara Jean – Jenny Han: Rating: 5/5 stars. As you all know, this was my most anticipated read of 2017. I posted a review here if you want to check it out. Overall, I loved it and I’m so sad it’s over.

That’s all I read in May! Plus about one hundred pages of a book I finished this month, which will be included in my June wrap-up. I’m currently six books behind my goodreads goal, and I’m determined to get back on my reading game.

I’m going to set my goal for June to 4 books! How many books do you want to read this month?
