January was a good reading month for me book-wise, not so much goal-wise. Initially, I told myself I wanted to read one book a week, but sometimes when schedules get a little hectic and a lot of your favorite TV shows return, a slump can happen. Which is what inspired me to write my last post, haha! Overall, I only read two books, but I loved both of them! I started off the year craving a good YA contemporary, and after finally getting my hands on The Unexpected Everything by Morgan Matson, I decided that was going to be the first book I read this year. Thoughts: The Lunar Chronicles series has become one of my favorites. I love the writing, the characters, the action, the story…it’s a series that keeps me on my toes and leaves me wanting more. Cress was definitely added to my list of favorites.
